I have delivered more than 40 freelance projects for clients across five markets, working directly with the people paying for the work rather than through an agency layer.
That taught me the parts of this job that are not code: understanding what a business actually needs, saying clearly what something will cost in time, and staying accountable for a result after the invoice is paid.
Today I build custom websites and web applications with Next.js, TypeScript and Supabase. AI is part of how I implement; it is not part of what I sell. The architecture, the review and the responsibility remain mine.

Before you get in touch
It depends on scope, and you get an estimate in writing before anything starts. A business website is usually measured in weeks; a custom application in weeks to months. If the timeline changes, you hear it from me rather than finding out at the deadline.
AI writes implementation code against an architecture and a specification that already exist. It does not choose the data model, the security boundaries or the business logic, and nothing reaches you without being read and corrected by me first.
You do. On handover you get the repository, the deployment configuration and the accounts the project depends on. There is no proprietary layer you have to keep paying me for in order to keep the site running.
Yes — most of my client work has been international. We agree a communication cadence at the start, including a window where we overlap, so you are never waiting a full day for an answer to something that blocks you.
Launch includes a written handover and a short period for issues that come out of real use. After that, ongoing work can continue as monthly development blocks, or you can take the codebase to your own team.
Sometimes. I review the codebase first and tell you honestly whether continuing it or rebuilding it is the better use of your budget. If a takeover is not the right call, I will say so before any work is agreed.
Scope is written down before the build so both of us are working from the same document. Pricing is quoted per project against that scope, not by the hour, and it is discussed directly rather than published as a package.
